The Long Island Brewers Guild is a non-profit trade association devoted to the promotion of craft beer and the brewing industry through consumer education, community events and legislative advocacy.

The Long Island Brewers Guild was created to promote a favorable legal and market environment for the craft brewing industry here on Long Island and to provide a strong networking base for the brewers and their suppliers, retailers and others interested in understanding its members’ contribution to our state.

The Guild strives to promote public awareness and appreciation for the award-winning quality and variety of locally produced beer; advocate for favorable regulatory treatment from state and federal agencies; and to provide support to brewers through a variety of efforts–including regional meetings, educational seminars, and networking opportunities.

With continued growth emerging from the craft beer industry nationwide, award-winning Long Island brewers continue to innovate.  As the Long Island Brewers Guild continues to develop and expand, it hopes to cultivate a passion for craft beer in the community and inspire the public to seek out their local artisan breweries.

We hope to ensure that every resident or visitor to Long Island knows to reach for our locally produced beer first.
